We got married in April [2023] and we could not have asked for a more amazing, enchanting and beautiful location for our wedding. The setting of this venue is absolutely stunning, perfect for getting married outdoors with views over the loch. The barn is lovely and perfect for a DIY wedding which is what we did. There's many lovely bits and pieces that the venue has / has been left by other couple which you can use to make you're wedding exactly as you want. Hannah and Cheryl were fantastic and always close by if you needed anything at all. They were super flexible and so so so helpful with helping us with logistics, planning the day and answering our (my) tireless amount of questions! We got taken up into the hills in the land rover for some amazing photos (definitely some of my fave from the day) which was just epic! Having the venue for the entire weekend was incredible and we always felt like we were being looked after from the moment we arrived Friday to when we left Monday. The facilities in the lodge and annex are AMAZING, our guests (and us) loved everything the place had to offer - I mean having a morning steam and hot tub on the day of your wedding isn't something any people can do! It was perfect for our large group, the kitchen and walk in fridge were perfect for the weekend and the spaces for getting ready are just phenomenal. Honestly if you don't fall in love with this venue when you visit I would be VERY surprised and we actually booked it without actually seeing it in person until not long before the wedding! The location is stunning, the team is incredible and the lodge is luxurious. Honestly made for our perfect wedding weekend for both us and our guests, it couldn't have been more special

We had a fantastic time planning our wedding and hosting at Carrick castle. The team are incredibly friendly and we loved that we could do whatever we wanted to the event space (Within reason!). The team were very responsive particularly as the big day approached and were keen to help make the day run smoothly. The space itself is just absolutely gorgeous and all of our friends and family were in awe at the incredible scenery. We could not recommend this venue highly enough!

We had our heart set on Carrick Castle Estate the moment we discovered it in our search for a rustic venue in Scotland. We were not disappointed when we viewed the estate with its stunning location and incredible accommodation. Hannah was extremely supportive during the whole process and simplified everything we needed to do. Hannah was very easy to approach and always had a speedy response and good advice based on previous experiences. We were able to tailor the weekend to be exactly what we wanted it to be, and then the sun came out and made it magical! We always planned on having an outdoors wedding and Carrick Castle Estate made that happen - we can’t wait to come back one day!

We had a wonderful time planning and celebrating our wedding at Carrick Castle Estate. We wanted somewhere that we could make our own, but also would provide the perfect backdrop without having to decorate too much. Carrick Castle Estate was perfect for that! We decided to make a weekend of it and spend as much time as possible with our loved ones and were not disappointed. There are endless possibilities to include small moments of celebration and intimacy. Hannah and Darius worked hard to make our whole weekend special and were always there when we needed them, but also left us to it and didn't impose. We even got surprise alpaca's at our wedding! We couldn't have asked for more!

"We had our dream wedding at Carrick castle estate and it was everything we could have wanted and more. From the very beginning, Hannah and Darius made everything so easy and accessible, with constant clear communication and understanding of how we wanted our special day to be. We said our vows overlooking the loch with our family and friends watching on. The party continued into the barn for the evening and it was a mixture of simple elegance yet fun and relaxed. We were able to completely bespoke our day to exactly how we wanted it. My family often say how much they’d love to go back and stay for a special occasion. "We fell in love with Carrick Castle Estate the moment we saw the views! We loved the idea of having a wedding weekend with our friends and family. Also, it was important for us to have our own personalities within the wedding, and you can really make it your own at Carrick Castle Estate. I still love seeing all the other wedding couple photos because I know every one will be so beautiful and unique.
We chose to use the barn, lodge and guest accommodation and everything was luxurious and outstanding! We had around 100 guests at our wedding, with lots of entertainment for kids (bouncy disco castle)!
The team at Carrick Castle Estate are wonderful and accommodating in every way. Hannah and Darius looked after us throughout our wedding planning journey, especially during the most difficult time with covid rearrangements. They supported us and helped keep our spirits up throughout the most uncertain times. They made us feel so special and cared for on our wedding day, with nothing being too much trouble.
Our guests still talk about our wedding venue, and we cannot wait to revisit and meet the alpacas! We would highly recommend the best venue with the most wonderful staff and views.

"Our wedding at Carrick Castle was everything we hoped for and more. The reason we chose Carrick Castle to start with was because of pretty specific criteria - we wanted a rustic barn wedding overlooking a Loch! And that’s actually pretty difficult to find. When we visited for the first time, Hannah showed us around the estate and we knew it was perfect. We loved the fact that we could really make it our own - with everything from the decor through to the food and drink.
On our wedding weekend, we booked all the extra accommodation options, and it meant our whole family and wedding party could be on site with us which was really special.
We were unbelievably lucky with the weather and had a whole weekend of sunshine! Pushing our wedding back one year due to covid made it all worth it just because of that.
Hannah and Darius were so helpful throughout all the planning process and the wedding weekend itself, giving recommendations for suppliers etc. and running through what was available to use on site with us.
We can’t wait to come back and stay at the Estate in the future!"

Wow!!!!! We had the most magical weekend here at Carrick Castle Lodge. We had the pleasure of dealing with the loveliest, most helpful hosts, Hannah & Darius. They were so welcoming, organised, down to earth with great communication. From the very beginning and knew after only visiting one venue that this was the one for us.
The grounds, location and facilities were everything we wanted and more. Nearly 1 year married we would love to revisit. The memories and day was one to remember and will stick in our hearts forever.

The actual day itself could not have been more perfect. I absolutely love looking at our photos (from recommender supplier Darren Mitchell) because the setting is just unbelievable. The houses are also all stunning, and the barn is so light and airy.
We had the houses for the whole weekend and our guests felt like they were on a luxury weekend away - because they were! We had a great day at our bbq the next day, catching up with all our loved ones about the day before.
Hannah and Darius have thought of everything. If I could go back I’d literally make no changes. Thank you to the team for giving us our best day."

“Words fail to describe just how amazing Carrick Castle Estate is as a wedding Venue. The views of the loch and surrounding hills make this venue have a magical presence that we simply fell in love with as soon as we viewed it.
The options you have here make the venue even more unique, with the lodge, summer house, lawn and barn all options for both the ceremony and reception. This flexibility to choose where we wanted each element to take place and design our own weeding meant we had the freedom to make our vision a reality.
Our day couldn’t have been any better- the weather was tremendous and we had a sunny, Scottish September wedding! We were lucky enough to get married on the lawn overlooking the Loch and have the drinks reception in the courtyard before partying into the night in the barn.
A critical part of our experience was having the ability to have family and friends onsite. Carrick doesn’t disappoint with the exceptional lodge and cottages providing all the flexibility we needed. Did I also mention the hot tub, steam room and sauna?

"Where to start here I’m not sure! Maybe with five stars ***** I cannot recommend Carrick Castle Estate enough. The lodge is out of this world beautiful. When you stay there it’s like a dream. We stayed 4 nights over our wedding with our bridal party and used the houses around for our families. There was nothing better than sitting out the back balcony that over looks the mountains on the morning of my wedding, having a few glasses of fizz watching the birds of prey. The beauty of Scottish wilderness and wildlife right there while you are in the comfort of the Luxury lodge. The whole process of wedding planning was very easy and Hannah was helpful in every way she could be. There were so many options for us on the day! We had such a great time and the weather was great so we got our outdoor wedding! Darius even took us both up the hill in the tank to get some cool photos. Legend! We already can’t wait to go back up to the lodge. Thank you to the Carrick Castle Team for not only the best day but the best 4 days of my life! The new Mrs Jones"

This is a new and spectacularly built lodge. It is hard to justify with mere pictures. We expected a fine place but we were blown away by the quality of the house and its contents. The house was even bigger than expected and easily big enough for the 13 guests that we were. There are two en-suites and a whole ‘spa corridor of (I don’t know how many (5?) other shower and bathrooms, not to mention the hot tub, sauna and steam room. The surroundings are magnificent but we have to split the time outside and in as we loved the house so much. The reception from Hannah and team was fantastic and they went out of their way to make sure we were welcome, happy and comfortable. Thanks Hannah!
